Who we are
Handpicked Catalogue publishes short lists of Amazon UK products on this website (www.handpickedcatalogue.co.uk) and on our Pinterest account (uk.pinterest.com/HandpickedCatalogue). For anything about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@handpickedcatalogue.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing about you, as far as we are concerned. There are no accounts, forms, comments, newsletters, analytics or advertising trackers, and this site sets no cookies. A small script on each page only hides prices that are more than a day old; it stores nothing on your device and sends nothing anywhere.
Services that handle data when you visit
Like any website, loading a page involves other companies' servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details:
- Cloudflare hosts this site and delivers its pages. It processes connection data to serve and protect the site. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google. Google's privacy policy.
Amazon affiliate links
We are a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. When you click a link to Amazon, you leave this site and Amazon's own privacy notice applies. Amazon may use cookies to record that you arrived through our link, so that we can be paid a commission on qualifying purchases. Amazon gives us totals of clicks and orders; it does not tell us who you are or what you personally bought. Amazon's privacy notice.
If you see or interact with our Pins on Pinterest, Pinterest's own privacy policy applies. Pinterest's privacy policy.
We use an application, Handpicked Catalogue Publisher, that connects to the Pinterest API to manage our own Pinterest account only: it reads our own boards and creates or schedules Pins on them. It does not access, collect or store information about any other Pinterest user. The access key Pinterest issues for our account is kept privately and can be withdrawn at any time from our Pinterest settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because this site does not collect personal data, we normally hold none about visitors. If you contact us by email, we use your message only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If what this site collects changes, we will update this page and its date.
